Calligraphy Styles

playful

By Laura Lubanski We have been seeing a trend towards incorporating gorgeous hand calligraphy throughout the invitation suite, and we must admit, we’re a bit smitten! Calligraphy is such an art form and we love the idea of an actual person calligraphing your text, adding such a personal touch to your invitations! It can be used in so many different ways that it’s hard to find a reason not to incorporate this element into your suite. From super modern to very classic, there are tons of calligraphy styles that fit your wedding style! If you’re going for a more traditional feel…

Lighting, photography, style and other tips and trends from our experts TIP: Create a Reception Timeline When’s the right time to leave your wedding reception? Don’t leave the decision up to guests. Five hours is a standard length for a reception, says Fausto Pifferrer of Blue Elephant Events & Catering in Saco, ME. This allows one hour for cocktails, one for dinner, and three for dancing. To make sure things run…
