Historic Fort Gorges, in Casco Bay off the coast of Portland, ME, is the dramatic backdrop for this stylized shoot highlighting the beauty of chaos. August 15th, 2015 Portland, ME Margie and Matt got engaged in an Oregon vineyard on Halloween 2014. There was nothing spooky about their wedding at The Portland Company, on the waterfront. The ceremony and reception were held in separate rooms in the building. “It’s a raw industrial space,” says Margie. “We fell in love with it.” A former event planner, Margie planned the wedding herself. The venue doesn’t have furniture so she rented tables, chairs and place settings from One Stop Party Shop in Portland; she arranged a small lounge seating area, with chairs, a couch and vintage items from…
