Precious memories of her family’s annual summer trips to Ogunquit filled Olivia and Brendan’s wedding day as they celebrated at Cliff House Maine in Cape Neddick. The bride has known her husband since high school, and he used to go along with her family for the week. “It was cool that we were so close to such a special place for us,” says Olivia.

She adds that she was looking for a classic, elegant wedding feel with a touch of coastal New England. Even the carpet in the ballroom was a depth map of the ocean just off the coast, she notes. “It was the most perfect day we could have asked for. One of our friends joked that we
must have paid to have the sailboats pass by at just the right moment.”

If they hadn’t been married in Maine, Olivia says she would have chosen Disney World. “I’m a big Disney girl, and I always wanted that Disney princess feel on my wedding day.” With that in mind, she chose a dress that was “romantic and flowy, with good movement and twirl.” Her long, wavy hair “had a mermaid vibe,” and a long, simple veil that caught the sea breeze was her crowning touch. Her favorite memory, adds Olivia, “was walking down the aisle with my dad on a perfect day, and having all our loved ones there.”
