Grace Gendron + Erin Pelletier

October 8, 2022

Poland, ME

Grace and Erin met in 2013 at a 911 dispatch center where they both worked the overnight shift, and both secretly had a crush on one another. It wasn’t until the following year that they went on a date, and since then they haven’t looked back. Now, nearly a decade later and raising 3 boys, they tied the knot at Rock Mountain Farm in Poland, Maine. “Rock Mountain Farm is part of the same land we live on and have lived on for our entire relationship. It’s home and it’s beautiful,” Erin says.

Grace and Erin wanted a simple but classy wedding they described as “traditionally non-traditional.” In lieu of table numbers, they opted for town names that were important to their
relationship. They bought decorations from local businesses, had catered BBQ from a Portland restaurant, and sported denim jackets and their favorite boots during their photo shoot.

“We are super laid back, not too fancy or ever taking ourselves too seriously. It was important to stay true to ourselves for this day,” Erin says.

When asked what advice they have for couples planning their wedding, Erin notes, “Don’t let anything take your attention away from each other and the true connection with those who came to
celebrate you. It’s literally the one day you can be completely selfish and not feel guilty at all.”
