Courtney Brown + Sam Larabee

August 28, 2021

Woodstock, NH

When you enjoy craft beer as much as Courtney and Sam do, it’s bound to play a part on your wedding day. “We’re big craft beer fans,” says Courtney. “In fact, our first date was at a craft beer pub in the Boston area.” As a nod to their favorite beverage, the couple performed a unity ceremony where each poured their favorite craft beer into a common glass to share. “It totally took our guests by surprise. They loved it!” Guests also took home a specially labeled wedding bottle of Woodstock’s Mosaic Pineapple Pale Ale.

From the birch-tree ceremony arch to the old camping lanterns adorning each table, the couple’s love for the outdoors was evident. “I totally leaned into the atmosphere of the venue and the location. We love the area so much, and we wanted to share that with our guests.” Their wedding became a weekend of events, from Friday night’s beer and wine party on the inn’s wraparound porch to a Saturday brewery tour and Sunday brunch.

A little wedding-day rain didn’t dampen the couple’s spirits. “I think we were just so excited at
having all our friends and family together after not seeing them for so long because of the
pandemic.”
