Erica Boggs + Bradley Riley

January 4, 2020

Wolfeboro, NH

Erica and Bradley met when she was a traveling nurse working at the ER in Keene, NH and he was working for the Keene Fire Department as a paramedic. Their first date was the day before she was leaving for her next assignment in Colorado. They made the long-distance work and dated for almost two years before getting engaged during a trip to Charleston, SC.

The church where they got married is where Bradley’s grandparents were married 50 years ago and his parents were married 28 years ago. It was important to them to carry on the long-standing family tradition. “I had my grandfather walk me down the aisle, this had always been a dream of mine since I was a child. I didn’t have a father figure growing up—he was it,” says Erica. “When we were saying our vows, right before we said ‘I Do,’ a light snowfall started outside, and made the entire moment incredible,” Bradley remembered.

They wanted their wedding to be relaxed and casual. They love the outdoors and live in a log cabin so it seemed only natural to have their reception at The Inn on Main. Erica’s family is from North Carolina. “Having our families join together was really great for us,” says Erica.
