Jennie Shoemaker + Jeremy Galvin

June 16, 2018

Lee, New Hampshire

When Jennie and Jeremy each described the same qualities they were looking for in a spouse to the same friend—commitment and devotion to family—their brilliant friend set them up. After their first date, Jennie knew Jeremy was the one. A year later, Jeremy asked Cellardoor Winery in Lincolnville, Maine to help him with a surprise proposal at a romantic lunch among their rows of grapevines. Jennie was surprised again to take home the first wedding dress she tried on. “I knew as soon as I put the dress on that Jeremy needed to see me come down the aisle,” she says.

Their wedding at Flag Hill Distillery and Winery was fun and very social. “I was dancing and I looked around and no one was at their table!” says Jennie. Between the firepit, games of corn hole, and walks through the vineyards, guests got to know each other and, by the end of the night, acted like one big happy family. Noted Jeremy, “Seeing them come together was the highlight.”
