Strafford, New Hampshire
When Liam came to haul away the, um, manure at the farm where Emma was working and training in dressage, she made sure she was wearing her cutest outfits. Clearly, she saw past the muck, and soon their relationship bloomed. Liam grew up on a farm and Emma was raised riding horses, so they knew they’d want to celebrate with a barn wedding; Kitz Farm in Strafford delivered.
Arriving in a horse-drawn carriage, wearing a lace corset and full skirt, Emma knew the day would be everything they’d hoped for. “Kitz Farm was the perfect venue and having our family and closest friends together really made the day wonderful for us.”
Liam and his father built a timber-frame arbor for the hilltop ceremony highlighting a mountain and pond in the background. During his sermon, Liam’s dad spoke of the construction process, reflecting how it felt like building a house over their marriage. “Aside from marrying my beautiful wife, that was my favorite part of the day,” noted Liam.
Wedding planner Melanie Voros “made planning the easiest thing ever” and became so close with the couple that they asked her to officiate. A live band from Texas reflecting their deep love of music played into the night where guests danced on concrete barn floors, lit by soft string lights under a waning moon.
