Tip: Label It. Signage combines beauty and function: it ties together your color palette while identifying food and appetizers. “We love hand-lettered signage at weddings for menus, bar signs and the like,” says Kate Malloy of Malloy Events in Rochester, NH. “It’s personal and a great way to add your wedding colors, either with a colored ink or paper stock.”

Trend: Greenery and Garlands on Tables. Lush greenery, from roping to garlands, is as romantic as flowers in wedding décor. Used as elegant table runners or decorating a ceremonial arch, garlands add dimension and texture. “There are so many different types of greens and each can help you achieve a unique look,” says Heidi Hamblett of Flowers by Leslie. “The cost of using greens versus flowers is roughly the same.”
