Alecia Coleman + Brandon Rexford

Alecia was initially apprehensive about attending Brandon’s family reunion in North Hampton, NH. But when she arrived, to her delight, the reunion turned out to be a surprise birthday party, meticulously planned by Brandon (her boyfriend since college), in her honor. Brandon brought both of their families together for the celebration, including Alecia’s dad – who flew in from California – as well as the couple’s dog.

More surprises were in store. At the end of the party, Brandon handed Alecia a card. As she read the line, “I have something to ask you,” Brandon got down on one knee and proposed. Surrounded by family, she gladly accepted.

Two years later, Alecia and Brandon had their dream wedding on a sunny day at Blue Ocean Event Center overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Although the wedding day was a blur for the happy couple, they loved being surrounded by friends and family. “It was crazy to know that everyone was there celebrating us,” Alecia says. Her favorite memory: dancing. “We had multiple dance offs,” she remembers. “I cling to that memory because our closest group of friends were there enjoying it with us.” It was truly a night to remember.
