Wedding celebrations don’t always have to be all about the bells and whistles like we see in the movies. Getting married isn’t always about the guest head count, the table seating, the dresses and it’s most certainly not all about the bridesmaids!

Any engaged couples can have there own personal wedding ceremony to celebrate the love they have for one another and if you happen to own a horse barn or always wished you could get married on a farm, you are in for a treat as a creative team of wedding professionals out of Portsmouth NH and the Newburyport MA area showcases this fabulous shoot!

At a private residence, Carson Farm, in Georgetown, MA, horses Bubba and Fuller had the honor of taking part of something very special.

Having a love for horses, Dragonfly Photography and Amy McLaughlin Lifestyles got together to create the setting and Amy was thrilled to take a small barn and transform into an intimate reception venue with lights and décor. This is a specialty of Amy’s, to take a bare-bones space, whether it be a tent, ballroom or something more unconventional, such as this horse barn, and build a clients’ vision from the ground up is her absolute favorite part of what she does.

Some of the key elements that we incorporated into this shoot were escort cards tied on horse figurines, horseshoe table number displays, a chalkboard welcome sign, a welcome table with refreshments in Moscow Mule cups and themed wedding guest welcome bags.

This talented group of wedding professionals one late spring afternoon put this whole thing into motion and it was a beautiful day with many smiling faces and a few gallops and neighs to bring it all together.
