The $25K WeddingThe DetailsAfter connecting on match.com, Fallon and Bill met for a drink in April 2009. Although she was initially skeptical about online dating, the pair hit it off instantly. An in-person meeting for a quick drink turned into a five-hour conversation that ended only because the bar closed. By October, Bill was spreading a blanket for a picnic, uncorking a bottle of wine, reciting a love letter he crafted, and asking Fallon to marry him. “It just felt right,” she says.
Fallon chose to return to her hometown of Duxbury, Massachusetts, to tie the knot. An ocean-side estate across the street from Fallon’s childhood home was the perfect setting to celebrate the couple’s love of the outdoors amidst their favorite colors of green and blue
Photography By Douglas Levy Photography This slightly larger wedding budget is also for 100-125 guests. Several details tweak the budget up just a bit—but several cost-saving details help keep it from launching way into the next budgetary stratosphere. This is where picking your priorities is critical. One splurge here is the striking gown, at around $4,000. The other is the dog’s floral collar, with stems that are more expensive than those in the bride’s bouquet!
